Hill Mannis (CPDT-KA), founder of Canine Communications, is a multi-certified dog trainer who specializes in at-home, 1-on-1 sessions that are specifically tailored to you and your dog. After starting out as a teaching assistant and tutor in New York City, he moved to Bend, Oregon (Dog Town USA) to immerse himself in dog training. There, he became a PetSmart Accredited Dog Trainer and a year later became nationally certified by the Council of Professional Dog Trainers.

After moving back to New York, Hill founded Canine Communications with the goal of bringing city-dwellers and their dogs closer using positive reinforcement and two-way communication. Combining his teaching skills with his knowledge and passion for dogs, he specializes in equipping owners and their dogs with the skills needed to navigate the bustle of NYC as an effective and confident pair. With these goals in mind, Hill specializes in offering private, breed-appropriate, and science-based training and enrichment for owners and dogs.
